DBT in Mind Limited is a specialised practice offering evidence-based Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) programmes to individuals seeking support for emotional regulation, impulsivity, behavioural dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal behaviours and complex interpersonal patterns. Our mission is to empower clients with practical tools and skills to gain new insights, reduce risky behaviours, improve mental clarity and responses to emotional states.

Our team-based services are specifically tailored to individuals diagnosed with or experiencing traits of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)/Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), complex trauma, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and autistic individuals navigating neurodivergence. We address the unique challenges faced by these populations, providing expert-led emotional and psychological skill-building through our in-person and online programmes.

Personalisation and Cancellation Policy

Personalisation of Services

The psychological treatment provided is a personalised service, tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. This may include:

  1. A detailed pre-treatment assessment of the client's mental health history and current needs and/or orientation sessions.
  2. Development of a treatment plan or skills group placement based on the assessment.
  3. Preparation of resources, crisis strategies, or exercises to address the specific needs of the client.

Waiver of Cooling-Off Period

The service is personalised and exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Once personalisation begins, the right to cancel for a full refund is waived.

Non-Refundable Policy

Any fees paid for the assessment or preparatory work are non-refundable, even if the client decides not to proceed with the treatment after the assessment has been completed. No refunds will be issued for missed group sessions, partial attendance, or withdrawal.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS). The business does not take part in online dispute resolutions at consumer arbitration boards.
